why headpead?

because it means 'good heads' in estonian. it's my personal gallery for images i've taken for myself and various projects i've been involved in. having worked in the advertising & design industry for over a decade now, seeing things in a different way has kind of stuck to me and i hope it reflects on you as well.

about me

i run a branding & design firm with my three partners and taking pictures is part of my everyday life - both on and off duty. i am not into specific genres, so dig in and let my pictures tell you their stories. i live & work in tallinn, so give me a call if you happen to pass by and fancy a little chat.

licensing

most images here are available for purchase as large format prints or licensing - just  ask, like many have asked before. my pictures have mostly been printed on wallpapers, kappa board, aluminum, plexiglass, framed canvas - so there really are no limitations. and you are welcome to contact me directly for a more detailed portfolio of my work or a wider selection of stock images. to make it easier for you, a larger number of my images will be available for review and purchase in the STOCK section.

the gear

i am well 'equipped' – mainly shooting digital with my canon 5d, but also on film with various new & old-timers - lomo, smena, zenit etc. i use a range of 12 to 400mm sigma lenses, bowens studio lights and lastolite for other lighting equipment. and thank god for apple and adobe, phase one for their hard & software.
